Grid Wall Sconce


Paints made from plant material are organized into a grid landscape as a way to echo the logic of pixels while remaining rooted in slow, natural processes. The work seeks to illuminate the mechanism of the jacquard loom having provided the fundamental logic behind binary code specifically through the grid system and over-under function.
